In the real world, the Armin’s and Eren’s showdown takes place and Reiner, Pieck, and Annie are in bad shape, surrounded by Titans ravaging their Titan bodies.
Eren Jaeger dies after Mikasa severs his head from inside the mouth of the Founding Titan. However, the final chapter of Attack On Titan reveals that Eren “visited” Mikasa and Armin earlier, during their boat trip to catch up to Eren and The Rumbling.
In reality, Mikasa decides to be the one to kill Eren and that his body is in the Founding Titan ‘s mouth. After breaking into the Founder’s mouth, Mikasa decapitates Eren and kisses him goodbye.
Will Eren and Mikasa end up together?
From where we’re standing, it seems highly unlikely that Eren and Mikasa will end up together. But before we discuss their potential future, it is imperative to revisit the past. After all, it is only when Eren saves Mikasa from kidnappers in an earlier season that Mikasa develops really strong feelings towards him.
Mikasa actually loves Eren in a romantic way. It is heavy hinted and implied throughout the series that Milasa loves Eren. There are multiple reasons why she loves Eren. Starting with the back story how these two first mint Eren literally saved her life from becoming a sex slave.
Another frequent question is “Why did Eren punch Mikasa?”.
According to Eren, Mikasa only clung to him because of her Ackerman blood. The Ackerman clan was an accidental byproduct of Eldia’s Titan experimentation on subjects of Ymir. These experiments ended up creating a bloodline that could partly manifest the strength of Titans in human form.
With this final form going on one final rampage, Mikasa makes one final dash for Eren’s real body still inside. Does Eren die season 4?
, and unfortunately, yes. Eren dies at the very end of the series. For fans, this could be a hard truth to deal with since we’ve been following his journey to avenge his parents’ death and discover the world outside the walls from the very beginning.

Short Answer Currently, Eren has not died in Attack on Titan. In view of certain observations and foreshadowing along with the direction of the story, we believe that Eren will die at the end of the series.
