Tanjiro is certainly strong in his own right, and he’s strong enough to defeat many of the characters in the series, whether they be demon or Demon Slayer. But he’s also basically a newbie within the Demon Slayer Corps, so there are still plenty of characters still able to defeat him. Here’s 5 characters Tanjiro can beat, and 5 he can’t.
Tanjiro Kamado does not become a hashira / pillar of the Demon Slayer corps. In the final chapter of the manga, he defeats the Demon King, Kibutsuji Muzan thereby eliminating all the demons, and in extension eliminates the need for Demon Slayer corps and Hashiras altogether. What pillar would Tanjiro be?
Is Inosuke stronger than Tanjiro?
Inosuke is tough, no doubt about it, be he’s not quite at Tanjiro’s level yet. Rui was a member of the Twelve Demon Moons, a group of incredibly powerful demons under the direct command of the series big bad, Muzan Kibutsuji.
When we were reading we ran into the query “Who is stronger tanjirou or Akaza?”.
The only pillar Tanjirou is probably already stronger than is Uzui. Based off what we’ve seen and current status: Rock, Wind, Nezuko, Water, Love, Tanjirou I would put Mist and Sound pillars above Tanjirou but they can’t really give anyone a hand right now so Nezuko hasn’t fought UPM3 like Giyu did. Akaza would probably beat any pillar in a 1 on 1.
Why can’t Tanjiro defeat Kanao Tsuyuri?
Tanjiro simply isn’t ready to face him. Kanao Tsuyuri is the adoptive sister of Shinobu Kocho, whom she has been training under since she was a young child. Having trained under one of the Pillars of the Demon Slayer Corps, Kanao was the strongest of the group that survived the Final Selection, a group that included Tanjiro.
Does Tanjiro become a demon king?
Tanjiro can be considered as the new Demon King when he transformed into a demon. The reason behind this was because the former Demon King has finally been defeated, and there is no other demon left after the Final Battle.
Yeah, you read that right. Tanjiro does turn into a demon! This was something that perhaps no one saw coming, and with Tanjiro being the most powerful demon the chances of him turning back seemed bleak! Thankfully, our characters got the happy ending they deserved (but at what cost?).
Tanjiro made the perfect candidate for becoming the next leader of demons, or, the “King of Demons.” Firstly, he shared blood with Nezuko, which would allow him to stand in the sun. Secondly, he practiced Sun Breathing like Yoriichi, which would make him even more powerful. Therefore, Tanjiro as a demon would be the most powerful demon to have ever existed.
Moreover, does Tanjiro die in Demon Slayer?
Tanjiro actually died in Demon Slayer. It was also confirmed during the post-timeskip events of the series that Tanjiro has already deceased. His death was also confirmed during the aftermath of the final battle when his pulse was checked by some of the surviving members of the Hashira .
What does Tanjiro wear in Demon Slayer?
Tanjiro wears a pair of hanafuda earrings that he inherited from his father. When Muzan Kibutsuji, the series’ villain who turned Nezuko, Tanjiro’s sister, into a demon, sees Tanjiro’s earrings, he sends two of his subordinates after the young Demon Slayer. Muzan had a past encounter with a Demon Slayer who wore similar earrings.
Tanjiro turns into a demon because of Muzan’s blood inside him. The survivors try to survive against him and in a sacrificial move, Kanao used her remaining eye to activate Scarlet Spider Lily Eyes. Her enhanced speed allowed her to inject the demon antidote and return him to being human.
