Zenitsu and Nezuko eventually married and had children, as indicated by their descendants. They also have a daughter named Kuzuha who becomes a priestess. Later in the series, it is revealed that Nezuko was actually married to Shirou Emiya before she met Zenitsu.

After turning into a demon, Nezuko still contains her human consciousness while in her demonic state. Other demons that she and Tanjiro have encountered noticed that Nezuko is different from their kind . Instead of relying on human blood to survive, she uses sleep to revitalize her energy.
Nezuko will also benefit from such a community. Zenitsu really loves her so she can be sure about his emotions. His attention and love can give her additional strength, and he actually defends her several times from different evil creatures. That was enough for her to accept his love offer.
Zenitsu and Nezuko are certainly interesting characters in Kimetsu No Yaiba. Zenitsu is, however, quite good despite his fear of demons. He might start sleeping under the pressure, but he is usually the most dangerous at those moments. His body then fights just on instincts so it is pretty hard to defeat him.
