Shinobu lost her life when fighting an Upper Moon demon named Doma. Since she is not strong enough to be an Upper Moon demons, Shinobu tragically lost her life at the hands of Doma that also killed her older sister, Kanae Kocho. Who kills Shinobu kocho? Domaeasily and fatally harms Shinobu.
While I was researching we ran into the question “What arc does shinobu die?”.
Shinobu Kochō does indeed die in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Her death happens during the Infinity Castle arc, in Chapter 143 of the manga, when she is killed by Doma; she actually ends up sacrificing herself. Her death has not occurred in the anime yet.
After the death of Kanae, however, Shinobu began to outwardly behave more like her sister and eventually developed her positive attitude and mannerisms to match while internally holding in her rage, which she later clarifies is fueled by her desire to continuously display the smile that her sister favored.

What are Shinobu’s powers?
Immense Speed & Reflexes: Shinobu possesses superhuman speed and reflexes enabling her to effortlessly evade and out-pace demons, attacking them before they can even register what happened. Shinobu is so fast that it often appears as if she teleported.
Instead of the traditional method of decapitating a demon with a Nichirin Sword to kill them, Shinobu opts to use a modified version of a katana that acts as a stinger to inject lethal Wisteria poison that is poisonous to demons. Other than her intellect, she is extremely fast and agile, allowing her to overpower demons very quickly.
Shinobu, the Insect Pillar, was first introduced with Giyuu, the Water Pillar, on Natagumo Mountain Arc. She says they are constantly on joint missions lately and should develop a good relationship. However, Giyu answers his only concern is slaying demons. Although Giyu maintains a cold and distant stance, among all the pillars, Shinobu is the one who has the best relationship with him.
Why does Shinobu bully Giyu?
Tl;dr: While Shinobu does tease Giyuu quite a bit, she doesn’t enjoy bullying him – instead she taunts him as a way of letting her frustrations out while carrying on Kanae’s memory/wishes. Whew, that was a lot.
Does Shinobu like Tanjiro?

Ironically, his extravagant clothing and overall design may act as a contrast to his complete lack of feeling. He has many similarities to Shinobu Kocho, an insect pillar hashira, in his tone, personality, and behavior.
