Does Shinobu have a bad temper?
Though never shown onscreen, Shinobu has a notable temper, namely in the way that makes even Inosuke Hashibira take notice. Overall Abilities: As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Shinobu is a very powerful and skilled swordswoman and combatant.
Tl;dr: While Shinobu does tease Giyuu quite a bit, she doesn’t enjoy bullying him – instead she taunts him as a way of letting her frustrations out while carrying on Kanae’s memory/wishes. Whew, that was a lot.
Does Shinobu really hate giyuu?
But, all the content showing Shinobu bullying/purposely frustrating Giyuu creates a misconception in the fandom that she hates him or gets a kick out of pushing his buttons. While it’s pretty clear she does tease him quite a bit, I doubt she deliberately wants to make his life miserable.
What does Shinobu look like?

When we were researching we ran into the inquiry “Who does Shinobu like demon slayer?”.
Shinobu, the Insect Pillar, was first introduced with Giyuu, the Water Pillar, on Natagumo Mountain Arc. She says they are constantly on joint missions lately and should develop a good relationship. However, Giyu answers his only concern is slaying demons. Although Giyu maintains a cold and distant stance, among all the pillars, Shinobu is the one who has the best relationship with him.
She has large deep purple eyes with no visible pupils and maintains an innocent look on her face most of the time. Shinobu dons the standard Demon Slayer uniform that consists of a dark purple straight-lined jacket, and hakama pants tucked into butterfly patterned fabric around her lower legs that match her haori.
Shinobu and Kanae. Shinobu was born as the youngest daughter within the Kocho household, living alongside her mother, father and older sister Kanae Kocho. She was raised in a loving and caring household until her parents were slaughtered by Demons right before her and her sister’s eyes .
Why does DOMA like Shinobu?
, trivia Doma’s name contains the kanji for “child” ( dō童) and (ma 磨 ), which can mean ‘polish’, ‘grind’, or ‘improve’. Ironically, his extravagant clothing and overall design may act as a contrast to his complete lack of feeling. He has many similarities to Shinobu Kocho, an insect pillar hashira, in his tone, personality, and behavior.
Shinobu was noted to have a very close and loving sisterly relationship with her biological older sister, Kanae having been seen to be very close to each other since early childhood and having spent their childhoods happily together with their parents.
Why does Shinobu always smile?
Shinobu covers up her anger (at the deaths of her parents, her sister, and everyone else), and chooses smile in honor of Kanae. As we’ve seen in Kanao’s flashbacks, Shinobu was pretty hot-tempered before her sister died.
But Shinobu is still shown to trust her sister deeply and support her sister’s decision despite not initial agreeing with her at first, as seen when the two adopted and made off with their adoptive little sister Kanao Tsuyuri .
